One week before the class begins, please email one page in which you introduce yourself and any memoir writing you have underway to cheriR@cheriregister.com
Additionally, she recommends that you buy or borrow Judith Barrington's Writing the Memoir: From Truth to Art and William Zinsser's Inventing the Truth: The Art and Craft of Memoir.
Bring to the workshop your own writing at whatever stage, and a copy of your two favorite published memoirs.BR>
During the course of your workshop, you will have the opportunity for a private consultation with your instructor.
You will have the opportunity to participate in a reading. Your participation in the reading is not, however, mandatory. Your instructor will provide options and direction during the workshop
