Cabin Glow is a 5 day workshop on Madeline Island for quilters witnessing the changing seasons with a desire to incorporate the color and mood of this amazing island into their creative quilt making process. Immersed in natural beauty, we will create Log Cabin blocks with focus on color harmonies using Jennifer’s additional 16 new SKY Reflections Ombrés. Precision block making is taught and discovery is enhanced as students explore value, color and the magic of ombre fabrics. Jennifer’s own Log Cabin Star Pattern and OMBRÉ QUILTS Book (C&T Publishing) will be used during retreat. Lakeshore walks, strolls along the beaver dams and canoe paddles in the estuary at bookends of the day will quiet you into discovery and enhance your creativity. One on one maker meetings at beginning and end of week with Jennifer to discuss ideas, learning and goals.
