Build your creative confidence! In this week-long improvisational workshop, learn to define and work with limitations which paradoxically allow your creativity free reign, and develop practices that will bring more ease, enjoyment, and confidence to your patchwork process.

We’ll spend part of our week on guided explorations and exercises to help you recognize conditioned or habitual choices. We’ll also focus on how to define and set parameters to encourage innovation and help you tap into a more intuitive creative flow. We’ll develop and nurture our discoveries through the creation of a patchwork quilt top that utilizes a framework of abstracted letterforms as a theme. Letterforms are easily recognizable, deeply familiar, and can resonate with personal meaning, making them an ideal foundation for experimentation and play.
