Brenda Hudson is a teacher, editor, writer, and a credentialed journaling instructor through the Center for Journal Therapy. She holds an MS in journalism from Boston University and a PhD from the University of Minnesota’s Department of Writing Studies. She regularly teaches at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, where she received its Excellence in Teaching Fellowship, in 2016 and 2017.

Brenda offers writing retreats in the United States and abroad through Voiced Life and has presented at the Minnesota Historical Society’s legacy writing conferences. Helping others express themselves through writing is her passion.
