Charlie Hunter emerged on the national art scene in 2012 as “Best New Artist” at the revered Plein Air Easton and with a feature in PLEIN AIR Magazine. Since then he has won awards at virtually all the top plain air events across the country. He has been a four-times featured artist at the Plein Air Convention, and shows in galleries and museums across the country.

Hunter lives in Vermont, in a small, resurgent mill town on the banks of the Connecticut River, where he drinks good coffee, paints and draws daily, and attempts to mediate between two cats who do not like each other one bit.
