In 1985, Lori McNee www.lorimcnee.com moved with her family from San Diego to the Northern Rockies of Idaho where she derives much of her inspiration. Lori’s broad spectrum of work includes poetic studio landscapes, plein air paintings, still life and encaustic wax paintings which most often incorporate birds or other wildlife. Her paintings have been featured in numerous publications including Plein Air Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, Southwest Art, Artist’s Magazine, American Art Collector, Western Art Collector to name a few.

Lori is an Artist Ambassador for Royal Talens, Princeton Brush Company, and Fredrix Artist Canvas. She is a certified Master Artist in Cobra Water-mixable Oil Paints, and is an exhibiting member of Oil Painters of America, the American Impressionist Society, and the Encaustic Art Institute. A popular art instructor, Lori conducts annual painting workshops in the States and abroad, including France and Italy. Lori is also an internationally followed art blogger and the owner of www.FineArtTips.com. Lori shares her online success secrets with artists, businesses, and organizations around the country. She is also an author, social media influencer, brand ambassador, and keynote speaker. She is a #SocialTV correspondent pioneer and tweets red carpet events including the Emmys, the Oscars, and BAFTA awards for Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Access Hollywood and Vanity Fair.
