Join Arounna Khounnoraj in this workshop that explores natural dyeing and image making. We will be using a variety of techniques to create surface designs including painting with ink, clay resists, mordants and modifiers. The fabric will be overdyed with indigo and natural dyes using local plants. In addition a variety of embroidery techniques will be added to give detail and texture. Arounna will guide you through these processes to create a final textile project that is inspired by the landscape of Madeline Island.
