Open Studio- Private Twin Room - Shared Bath Details
Twin beds with bath en suite, room shared with another student.
MISA Open Studio - Includes full breakfast, lunch and two dinners. The tuition includes the studio fee.
Check-in Sunday at 3pm, Checkout Friday at 5pm.
Workshop space is shared with all genres and is in our Barn Loft Classroom.

For the evening meals the rest of the week, enjoy the sights and sounds of Madeline Island at one of the Island restaurants overlooking Lake Superior sunsets.
All meals are tailored to your dietary needs, vegetarian and gluten free options are always available.
Unlimited healthy snacks and beverages are always available 24/7 in our dining hall and workshop studios.
You’ll always find our chocolate chip cookie jars full morning, noon and night.

Our new Open Studio Retreat week invites makers of every discipline, quilters, painters, writers, photographers, fiber artists, and more to come create on your own terms. Spend five expansive days honing your craft in our dedicated studio spaces in our Barn Loft, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Madeline Island.
Come solo for a deeply personal creative reset, or invite a circle of friends and turn it into a week of inspiration, laughter, and shared artistry.

Join us for a week-long art retreat at Madeline Island School of the Arts and let the island hold space for your creativity. Because this workshop takes place in an open-campus setting, participants should plan to bring all materials, tools, and supplies with them each day.
