Unique Southwest Setting, Exceptional Workshops
Santa Fe Altitude
At 7,199 feet above sea level, Santa Fe offers beautiful high-desert landscapes and a higher elevation that can affect some visitors.
Some guests may experience mild altitude symptoms, especially during the first day or two of being here.
Common symptoms may include:
- Headache
- Shortness of breath
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Dizziness
Tips for Adjusting
- Give yourself time to acclimate – Arriving a day early can help.
- Stay hydrated – Drink plenty of water before and during your stay. Hydration and electrolytes can help you stay balanced.
- Take it slow – Rest when needed and avoid overexertion during your first day.
- Consider altitude support – Some guests find over-the-counter remedies helpful, such as Oxygen Boost or other altitude support options (please consult your doctor before use).
- Listen to your body – If you’re feeling unwell, please let us know. We’re happy to help.
We want your time in Santa Fe to be comfortable, creative, inspiring and most importantly, spent enjoying your workshop, not feeling sick from the altitude.
