MADELINE ISLAND CAMPUS

MADELINE ISLAND CAMPUS

MADELINE ISLAND CAMPUS

Madeline Island School of the Arts (MISA) is ranked among the top five art and craft workshop schools in the country.

Nestled on the largest of the 22 Apostle Islands, Madeline Island is a place where time slows down—welcome to Island Time! Stroll along sandy beaches, listen to the waves roll in, and feel the breeze whispering through the towering pines. Immerse yourself in the island’s rich history, savor beautifully prepared local fare with stunning lakeshore views, and explore charming galleries that ignite your artistic spirit.

At MISA, creativity flourishes in our World-Class Studio Space, designed for artists to focus, learn, and create in a supportive community. For those seeking a deeper connection with nature, our Nature Studio Space offers an open-air, immersive environment where inspiration comes as naturally as the surrounding beauty.

While you are here to paint, write, quilt, be sure to get out and explore the outdoors—hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, or simply unwinding—Madeline Island is your perfect escape. It’s all here for you on beautiful Madeline Island!
