Meal Plan Details
Three exquisite meals are prepared daily by a master chef and served in the stately Ranch dining room with sweeping views of the Rincon Mountains. In the morning you can indulge in fruit and yogurt, crisp bacon with eggs, or the Ranch’s signature pancakes.
The gourmet buffet lunch with salads, seasonal vegetables and a daily variety of entrees will keep you energized for the rest of your workshop day.
In the evening, the southwest dinner cuisine will delight you and the Ranch barbeque at their Cottonwood Grove is always a highlight for the week.
During the week, several indoor and outdoor specialty dining events are held. These special events include the Cottonwood Grove Ranch Barbeque with live entertainment.

Quiltworx University - MISA

Workshop Description:
Quiltworx University is an event like no other in the quilting industry! Spend five full days with Judy and Judel Niemeyer along with a team of certified Quiltworx Instructors and Certified Shop, Pink Door Fabrics at MISA's Tucson Campus.
Attend trunk shows, work with Judel and Pink Door Fabrics to create custom kits and find supplies and fabrics in the quilt shop.
Get inspired by your peers and industry leaders, and take advantage of 24-hour studio access in the Barn, a spacious interior with room for 100 students and the On-site shop in one rustic, elegant, well-lit space with incredible views of the Rincon Mountains and the Saguaro State Park. The Ranch offers delectable five-star dining and stunning vistas in all directions of the Tucson area that make this event a must-attend.
Each Quiltworx event features a one-of-a-kind project option, which is revealed about 5 to 6 months prior to the event. You will have the opportunity to work with Quiltworx and Pink Door Fabrics to choose the latest fabric lines and custom designed blocks and layouts to create a quilt that is a one-of-a-kind Quiltworx project–truly unique to you!

Students will need to purchase their project for the class, which will range in price from $300 for the smaller patterns up to $800 for King Size designs, with backing and binding.
*Please understand that students will not be able to select a project that has been published in the past. It is mandatory for students to work on the chosen project for this event as Judy requires students work on the selected projects to this workshop only. Five to six months before the workshop, the Quiltworx team will help guide you through the process of customizing your personal project using design elements never before released. The project for this workshop week has not been selected at this time, but will offer quilts ranging in size from 68” square, up to King size (118”) in a variety of different layouts. When the project is selected, we will announce it in the Event Facebook Group page, on the Quiltworx Website Event Page (found under Events, then Quiltworx University 2027, MISA, and through the Quiltworx Newsletter. It will also get posted in the Gallery on the MISA website).

A sewing machine is required for this workshop. Participants are welcome to bring their own machine or contact MISA ahead of time to reserve a rental. __________________
