Heather is a Cape Cod based artist. Her abstract quilts have been exhibited widely in museums and exhibits such as the National Quilt Museum, The Dairy Barn, Schweinfurth Museum, Wayne Art Center, Visions and the Oulu, Finland, Art Museum. Her quilts are in private collections as well as the International Quilt Museum and she has received numerous awards for her work.

Her degree in geology strongly informs her work to this day. Heather still finds the flow of colors and the shapes of crystals incredibly exciting.

Heather loves to experiment with color, line, and shape in constructing geometric and free form compositions. Individual blocks are arranged and layered, the design developing with the changing interplay of colors and shapes. The emerging color/shape combinations constantly suggesting new directions to pursue.
