Genre: Studio Painting

My degree is in painting from the University of Illinois-Chicago. I have also studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Art, the Barnes Foundation and Montclair State University. I began working in acrylic and transferred to watercolor which has been my main medium for many years. I have taught watercolor workshops in Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New Mexico, Prince Edward Island and repeat workshops overseas in France, Italy and Croatia. In addition, I have taught watercolor at the Montclair Art Museum for 20 years and currently teach plein air classes in person and online classes. My work has been featured in Watercolor Artist magazine and I have been listed in Who’s Who in American Art. I have exhibited my work regularly and have pieces in private and corporate collections.
