Meal Plan Details
Three exquisite meals are prepared daily by a master chef and served in the stately Ranch dining room with sweeping views of the Rincon Mountains. In the morning you can indulge in fruit and yogurt, crisp bacon with eggs, or the Ranch’s signature pancakes.
The gourmet buffet lunch with salads, seasonal vegetables and a daily variety of entrees will keep you energized for the rest of your workshop day.
In the evening, the southwest dinner cuisine will delight you and the Ranch barbeque at their Cottonwood Grove is always a highlight for the week.
During the week, several indoor and outdoor specialty dining events are held. These special events include the Cottonwood Grove Ranch Barbeque with live entertainment.

Sunday, January 25th – Meet and Greet
Kick off the week with drinks, snacks, and conversation! Gather with Kaffe, Brandon, and fellow participants to preview the creative journey ahead.
Monday, January 26th – Paper Color Collage Workshop
Explore the power of creating different color moods using paper collages. Gain confidence in building color schemes that you can apply to any creative medium—paint, fabric, or beyond.
Tuesday, January 27th – Kaffe Colorway Painting Workshop
Re-color one of Kaffe’s fabric designs using the hues of an inspirational artwork or scene. Experience firsthand how changing a color scheme transforms the perception of the design. No painting experience needed!
Wednesday, January 28th – Free morning to enjoy all the activities at the Ranch
Enjoy all that Tanque Verde Ranch has to offer, from exploring the desert with guided hikes, horseback rides, mountain biking, or fishing to unwinding by the pool, practicing yoga, or indulging in the spa. Whether you’re looking for adventure or a chance to unwind, the ranch offers a variety of options for you to enjoy.In the afternoon, join Kaffe and Brandon for an inspiring lecture on their world travels and how they find and interpret color in their designs.
Thursday, January 29th – Diamond Quilt Workshop
Using inspiration from Quilts in Ireland, design your own version of the 3 ½-inch diamond quilt pattern in your personalized colorway. Work with core fabrics and expand your palette with the help of Kaffe, Brandon, and a pop-up fabric shop. Bring an open mind—you’ll be amazed by what you create!
Friday, January 30th – Fabric Collage Workshop
Apply all the color lessons from the week to a fabric collage. Discover how different hues and tones interact to create harmonious designs that can inspire a quilt, needlepoint, or even a room palette.
End your week feeling empowered with new color skills and ready to take your creativity to the next level!
