Dani Ives
Dani Ives (she/her) is a fiber artist known for her unique needle-felting technique she calls “painting with wool,” which she uses to create lifelike portraits and nature-inspired art. With a background in biology and conservation education, Dani integrates her love for nature and how we interact with it into her practice. Her work has been showcased nationally including within Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Arkansas Historic Museum, and in the 2024 Women of the Ozarks exhibition. She has been featured by Martha Stewart, The Oprah Magazine, American Craft, Colossal, and more. She authored “Painting with Wool” and teaches workshops globally, both online and in person. Dani’s awards include the Artist 360 Grant, Arkansas Arts Council’s Individual Artist Fellowship and the Award of Excellence from Fiber Art Now. She resides and works in Rogers, AR.
